General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

While it's difficult to say for sure about skin disease without seeing it. However the lesion you described may be a nevus.. There are different types.

Mostly not serious however there are few points in black mole that should draw urgent attention.

These include increase in size, irregular borders, raised lesion or change in color. so if you have any of this you should see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Mahboob Ur Rahman , General & Family Physician
