General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Doxium tablets are generally given for blood vessel related or venous disorders. I cannot guess what you mean by spots without any proper history and lab results.

However, I will suggest you one thing. If your doctor has mentioned that the spots are due to vascular or blood related then you might continue the medication for a week. if not, it's advisable for you to consult with a dermatologist to find the exact cause of the condition. There can be several conditions right from infection to auto immune disorders which can manifest therefore it's necessary to eliminate them depending on your past medical history.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Manoj Pradeep
