Suggest Treatment For Bladder Infection And Pain During Urination
hi i m a 55 year old male, Hawaiian, Caucasian recently had blood work done as part of annual chkup LDLwas 130 everything else was at nom lvls was prescribed atorvastatin 20MG. Also told my Dr. I was having difficulty completely evacuating bladder when urinating and was prescribed Tamsulosin0.4MG No change in diet. My question is what could cause my feet to swell?
Swelling in the foot might have many causes, such as any medication you are taking for any other diseases. Tamsulosin is not reported to cause swelling, as a side effect. Atorvastatine might cause ankle swelling rarely.
I suggest you to try improving fat level by reducing fat in your diet, avoid fried food. If you had swelling before starting these treatments, you should have a urine analysis done, and renal function tests uremia/Creatinin blood level, to diagnose any urinary infection, and treat it with antibiotic.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Suela Gjata,
