Suggest Treatment For Bleeding And Dizziness Caused After Taking Two Duphaston Tablets Daily
hi..dr. i am taking duphaston twice daily to treat my simple endometriosis without atypia. i ve been taking duphaston for 15 days now and i having heavy bleeding and clots since last 2 days. now i experience dizziness and weak. my dr advise to increase duphaston for 3 times daily. pls advise
Hello, Thankyou for asking your question at health care magic
Endometrial hyperplasia without atypia is due to prolonged stimulation of uterus by estrogen resulting in thickened endometrium (inner lining of uterus). Heavy bleeding with clots is due to the thick endometrium shedding.
Since you are complaining of dizziness and weakness, I recommend you consult your doctor to get haemoglobin levels checked (to look for anemia) and to see if you need intevwntion to stop bleeding. Severe anemia may also warrant blood transfusion.
Hope I was able to answer your question Regards, Dr.Lekshmi
