Suggest Treatment For Bleeding And Swelling In The Bump

Hi, I got my tragus peirced about 2 weeks ago and it had been healing fine with a few scabs every now and then tonight i accidently bumped it pretty hard and it started bleeding and swelling. I put ice on it but it is not helping much, what should i do?

Tragus piercing with repeated trauma to it may have caused apprehensions in healing process and granulation tissues resulting in bleeding episode and inflammation. Keep the wound site clean, apply pressure dressing to stop the bleeding, topical NSAIDS for the pain and antibiotics topical to prevent any infection. Give it a rest and seek a physician nearby if the problem persists. Keeping wound clean and aseptic is the key here.
