Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I am a female, age 65. I was diagnosed with blepharitis in May and treated with an RX cortizone ointment. It has cleared up but my eyes tire easily and seem dry. When I waken my eyelids seem fused to my eye and it takes some time to get them open. Have used Refresh Optive drops in eyes, still feel irritated and my vision for reading and computer work is impaired, blurry. perhaps there is another eye drop I should try?
For blepharitis, steroid need not be used and it can be cleaned with sterile gauge. Symblipheron is to be operated. Apply neosporine ophthalmic ointment in lid margin. Daily cleaning of lid margin is essential.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Ashok Kumar Dash
