Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, I have been diagnosed with blepharospasm by a neurologist. The botox injection didn t help and now my eyes are tired looking , heavy, and like slits. The blinking isn t that bad. What really bothers me is that my eyes seem to cause my head to feel really groggy, tired, and depressed all the time. When I try to open my eyes wider my head seems to feel better, but then my eyes just return to being 3/4 closed and I feel like crap again. Is their anything I can take or do to wake my head up ? It feels like I ve been hit with a bat on the side of my head. Thanks, Cathy

Symptoms of eye dystonia may include excessive blinking and involuntary closure of the eyelids. The cause is believed to be incorrect messages from the brain to the muscles around the eye.
