Suggest Treatment For Blister-like Patches All Over Scalp
I have blister like patches all over my scalp n so much pus is coming out of them that it looks like I just washed my hair. And when I squish to drain it a few minutes later it s filled up again. Huge one on the top and a bunch of smaller ones everywhere else. Now my head feels like it s on fire.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. What problems you are facing is infection of the scalp called 'seborrhic dermatitis'. Kindly do the following to overcome it. 1. Use regularly every alternate days shampoo containing coal tar along with salicylic acid. 2. Use alternatively shampoo containing Ketoconazole. 3. Use shampoo containing Zinc and Selenium once a week. 4. Take antiinflammatory medication Ibuprofen after food till wound starts healing. 5. Apply Neomycin skin cream only on the lesions at bedtime. Gradually, the lesions should heal and your symptoms should subside. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
