Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 6 year old appears to have been bitten by a spider 2-3 daysago. The immediate area blistered slightly before beginning to look like it is healing. However, my son hasn t felt good today and now had a body temp between 96 and 97. Is this an emergency?

Give him syrup rigix (cetrizine) or any anti allergic 5mg/5ml PO×2TSF×BD×BD, if he has fever give syrup paracetamol 250 mg /5ml PO×BD. Still if these dont go and it seems infected then consider visiting you GP or paediatrician for antibiotic perscription like syrup amoxicillin 250mg/5ml PO×BD.
