Suggest Treatment For Blisters At The Incision After Carpal Tunnel Surgery

Problems after carpal tunnel release surgery
42years old,5'5,153lbs, female. I had the surgery on 9/29/12, incision is very discolored, the holes where the stitches were taken out are starting to blister. The hand has a lot of swelling even in the wrist and the whole hand and wrist is very very painful. Hurts to move or use in any fashion. Nothing helps, except using a brace, but that irritates the incision.

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
I think you had developed a hypertrophic scar and RSD. I would suggest you following treatment.
1. wax bath from physiotherapist
2. I suggest amytryptalin for my RSD patients.
3. Avoid any further surgeries as scar can be worsened.
