Suggest Treatment For Blisters On Skin After Radiation Treatment
When you have breast cancer and are having radiation treatments and it starts to blister, now the skin has peeled and its like an open wound. It is getting bigger and worse every day. So very painful. What can you do for radiation burns and what are some normal prescribed treatments? Sorry I wrote in pieces.
As first-line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
