Suggest Treatment For Blisters On Tongue

My parents are on vacation. My father came down with cold sweats which broke the next day. He now has tongue blisters. I asked if they had fish and yes, the had crab cakes. Both are 73 years old. What can he do to helpmthis situation. He is on no medication and only takes vitamins.

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the blisters on the tongue looks like herpes virus infection, nothing to worry consult your oral physician and you can apply topical anesthetic and analgesic. if it is herpetic infection you can start with antiviral drugs but these drugs will be effective only if it is taken with in 24-48 hrs of initiation of the lesions. do saline gargling. i hope my answer will help you. take care..
