im a male. 21 years old and im wondering why my stomach always feels so hard and it looks so bloated but it just feels uncomfterble not bloated. i just feel like im constantly flexing. what can i do to get rid of this. i dont have to much fat but it looks like im fat because of this stomach that just sticks out!
Bloating of the abdomen can result in a tight uncomfortable sensation, it can also cause the abdomen to appear larger than it actually may be.
Bloating can occur due to: (1) GERD - gastroesophageal reflux disease
(2)lactose intolerance
(3)use of gas producing foods such as cabbage, turnips, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, carbonated drinks
(4)food intolerance
(5)celiac disease
If you have additional symptom of reflux, you can try to use medications and start lifestyle changes that may help the bloating and any other symptoms.
If it is related to one of the other conditions mentioned then you can also avoid any aggravating foods.
Have atleast 2 glasses of warm water early in the morning after you get up.
After 30 minutes you can have black tea . Never over eat. Eat every 3 hours just 3/4 of your stomach.
Try to finish your supper by 9.00 am and avoid drinks and artificially colored drinks like Coca Cola, Pepsi etc. Fried food and fatty food should be consumed with lot of caution.
