Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i just checked earlier today and noticed a small flesh colored blister or bubble like bump that is on the ridge of my anus opening,it isnt that much of painful but it is very uncomfortable. is this a hemeroid ? what can i do to treat it without going to a doctor, also i do not have a regular bowl movment due to the fact that i am a heroine user so i no thats an issue should i take laxtetive or softeners to help this problem. thank you
Hi, i do care for your concern. Your history suggest more of an abscess rather than hemorrhoids. As the latter cause intense pain and blood streaked stool. I would advise To start on antibiotic such as cefexime along with antacid for a full course of one week. using antiseptic containing soap would add to the help. in case of constipation laxatives can be administered. If problem still persist physical examination may be needed. Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help. Thank you.
