General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank yo ufor using HCM.
By what you explain it does not seem to be something serious. When we take pap test some bleeding is usual due to the scratching of the cervix with the brush. also if there was already a blood blister the most likely cause is trauma, sexual intercourse might be a reason and it should heal well. I would follow the advise of the doctor and wait for the pap test result. If it comes normal and you have no more bleeding than the day of the pap smear do not worry. Make sure you do the routine pap tests as recommended and you visit a doctor if abnormal bleeding comes back.
Hope this answers to your question and is helpful
