Suggest Treatment For Blood Blisters In Inner Corner Of Eye

My husband has what appears to be like a blood blister on the inner corner of his right eye. It is not on the eyeball itself, but rather on the under eye. It is painless. It is not swollen or puffy. He has no memory of ever getting hit in the eye recently, nor has he been scratching there. It just appeared when he woke up this morning. There is some indication that it is dissipating. Any thoughts of what it could be, and suggestion for how to treat it? Thank you.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query your husband has blood blisters in inner corner of eye . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like insect bite , a pimple , infection or other condition like low immunity . There can be other reasons also like cyst , papillomas or Xanthelasma . I would suggest you to consult ophthalmologist for proper examination . Doctor will diagnosis physically . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( amoxicillin) atleast for 10 days along with anti inflammatory and anti allergic . Doctor may also recommend for surgical removal under local anesthesia .
