Suggest Treatment For Blood Coagulation Inside My Inner Upper Cheeks
Was at my dentist and she noticed blood coagulation inside my inner upper cheek. She said it should go away in 2 weeks as it looks like trauma. I asked if she can take a sample but she mentioned nothing to take a sample from as it's not a lesion. 10 days now but not much progress. I'm not a smoker nor do I consume any alcohol or any sunstances but concerned. Any thoughts on what might this be? Should I wait on it beyond the 2 weeks or do something about it as soon as I hit the 2 week Mark. Btw it's not painful.
As per your complain blood coagulation inside upper lip can occur due to traumatic injury caused by lip biting, trauma with some hard food etc.. It can cause bruising while at times there can also be Hematoma formation..
If you have bruising in any other parts of body then it can be due to blood coagulation disorders and in that condition consulting a Physician and getting thorough evaluation and blood investigation done is a must..
As of now do alternate warm and cool compresses over the area and wait for another one week to 15 days.. If still not resolved consult an Oral Physician/Oral Surgeon and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
Regards..
