Suggest Treatment For Blood In Stool Of A 2 Year Old Child

My 2 year old grandson has blood in his stool which was hard yesterday. His mom said she told dr. 2 weeks ago that it happens sometimes. She told me nothing to worry about just needs more fiber. What do you think? He turned 2 on October 30. Thank you.
