Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I am having blood in my stool for a few months off and on now. It usually forms a bloody inch wide ring on my solid stool if I do not go immediately. I believe it to be internal hemorrhoid as I m only 21, but today more than usually came out and it concerned me.
You may be suffering from an acute fissure in any or internal haemorrhoids. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Use tablet pantoprazole before breakfast for one week. Eat high fibre diet, avoid spicy food and alcohol.
Use syrp lactulose thirty ml after dinner for five days in case constipation or hard stools. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Penchila Prasad Kandikattu , Internal Medicine Specialist
