General & Family Physician, Dr. Alma Neço's Response
Hello dear, Thank you for your question.
In my opinion, the urinary infection extends in the urethra, that would explain the bleeding in the end of urination. Difficulty of passing the urine can also be explained with the inflammation of the urethra (the lowest segment of the urinary tract).
The red colouring of the end portion of the urine needs a couple of days to resolve, so you need to be patient. Usually I suggest my patients to drink plenty of water.
I hope this helped. Kind regards, Dr. Alma
