I am a 53 year old man who six months ago was blood in my urine Opening After blood and urine tests were all normal except for the fact that it was some bacteria in my urine. My doctor prescribed azithromycin for me. Unfortunately, after six months, the blood in my urine Opening. Please guide me
Hematuria(blood in urine) may be due to many reasons like urinary tract infection(UTI),calculus in genitourinary tract,malignancy etc.
Painless hematuria may indicate tumour.It is important due to your age. You need proper clinical examination and further investigations. Investigations include routine hemogram,random blood sugar,urine RE/ME,urine culture and sensitivity,renal function test,ultrasound of abdomen. CT scan of abdomen can be done if needed. Proper treatment depend upon findings.
