Suggest Treatment For Blood In Urine

Hi, my husband, 38, has had blood in his urine for nearly 2 weeks. He has had blood tests, urine tests and an ultrasound and so far they can not find a cause. We are now waiting to see a urologist. This morning he noticed blood clots in his urine. There has been no pain. Should we just continue to wait for our urologist appointment or should he see someone today seeing as though his symptoms have changed?

As per my surgical experience, there must be an underlying cause of blood in urine as infection, calculus, coagulation disorder, tumor or other condition.
