Suggest Treatment For Blood Shot Eye And Sensitivity To Light
I got sperm in my left eye, I washed my eyes with warm soapy water but now my eye is very blood shot and light sensitive, the part that concerns me a lot is that it feels bruised. Also when I close my eyes it hurts, and when I blink. If I press on my eye with my eyes closed it feels very tender and painful. What is happening to my eye!?!?
Thanks for writing to HealthCareMagic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.
Semen as enzymes and antigens which might irritate eye in this situation we suggest steroid eye drops for the patient if you can get them OTC then you can use them in night if not then contact an eye doctor to get a proper checkup and get medication prescribed. Although it is expected to get better by itself.
I hope this answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it.
