Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My thigh skin stuck to my husband s last night while sleeping. When I took my leg off his, it felt like duct tape tearing off my leg! This morning, a large area of blood spots are on my inner thigh. Never heard of such a thing. Comments? Thank you.
Your history is suggestive of one of the following when you get a noise while moving the limb with accumulation of blood. - Muscle tear - Rupture of vein
Hence, I would advise you to first of all stop moving the limb; apply a splint. Consult your Doctor. Ultrasound of the affected area or an MRI would be still better. This will give a perfect idea as to what exactly happened. Muscle tear has to be stitched after evacuation of hematoma to get the best results. Tear of vein can be treated conservatively. Any other cause if found will be treated accordingly. Get your blood tests for bleeding time, clotting time, prothrombine time, liver functions and any other as would be suggested. Consult your Doctor.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
