Suggest Treatment For Bloody Discharge From Ear With Minor Hearing Loss

I have a slight drainage from my ear that contains blood, and ear wax im assuming. There was a sharp pain for about two minutes prior to the drainage accuring. It happened last night before i went to bed i woke up today and have a slight loss of hearing, the pain is gone though. The inside of my ear has almost completely closed up now. What treatment options should i take?

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you have an ear infection leading to Ear discharge along with pain ,hearing loss and closing up of ear..
Aa there might be severe Inflammation and fluid accumulation the hearing has reduced..
O would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Otoscopic examination, x Ray or MRI can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
You can be advised to take antibiotics like Augmentin or Cephalexin oetc, anti inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen or Naproxen, Antibiotic ear drops, decongestant nasal spray etc..
Manual cleaning of ear along with pus and blood drainage can be done..
You should also avoid excessive water exposure to ears like Swimming, do not expose to very loud sounds, do not pick the ears as it can increase Infection..
