Suggest Treatment For Blotchy Rashes On Knees And Arms
I have a blotchy rash come up on my body behind my knees and on my arms.it is very itchy.it disappears then comes back.also my feet swelled up and then go down when I get up next morning.i am on holidays and left my medications at home.would that be a cause.i take Olmetec,thyroxine,crestor in the morning and Zoloft at night.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of blotchy rashes on knees and arms which is very common as dirt and moisture get trapped by your clothing and the friction that comes from sitting can these symptoms. It could be due to blockage of sebaceous glands leading to folliculitis or boils. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to keep this area clean and dry , apply cream containing azelaic acid , apply warm compresses with soaked towel and apply vitamin C serum at night. You should avoid touching or pricking rashes. If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine physically along with blood test and sample for lab test . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants , antibiotics like clindamycin , anti inflammatory or anti fungal . Doctor may also prescribe benzoyl peroxide ointment .
