I had cataract surgery 4 days ago. As discussed with my surgeon, we agreed the plan was to give me some reading capability in this eye and the other eye would be corrected for distance in the future. I can read close up with this eye, but anything beyond that is totally blurry with some double vision. I also experience a rippling effect and steaks, etc with lights at night. Should the distance vision improve? I was barely able to read the second line of the eye chart.
you should take proper corection for near vision. it is afixed vision. you have lost power of acomodation. so you have to adjust your nhead and book ina distance inwhich you are comfortable. now you have to adjust this for rest of your life,
