General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, painless blurring of a single eye in a child of 9 years may indicate compromised vascular supply of the retinal artery via different mechanics as congenital metabolic disorders presenting lately around 8-10 years or else.

An immediate visit to your optometrist for fundoscopy examination is strongly recommended for best evaluation and care ahead.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
