Suggest Treatment For Blurry Vision After Injury To Face
my husband got kicked in the face (he s going to one of those mixed martial arts gyms) Last week he got a black eye, but no trouble with that. now someone s toe cut just below his brow towards the nose a small cut. but now his vision is blurry in that eye. but no pain. does he need to sleep and see how it is in the morning, go to urgent care tomorrow or ER tonight? thanks
As per my surgical experience, the black eye is part of hematoma formation following facial injury. The blurring of vision is secondary to the possible edema over the cornea or conjunctiva most likely. Primary concern is to apply ice over eye 5 minutes each 5-6 times a day and visit tomorrow morning an Ophthalmologist , there is no need to visit to an ER and pay extra dollars.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
