Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My mom had a mini stroke four days ago. Her vision is still blurry. She has immaculate degeneration and controlled glaucoma and a Cataract. She is worried that since the stroke her vision has become worse. Is prolonged vision changes common for a mini stroke?
Stroke can cause blurred vision and even complete loss of vision if it is occluded major vessels of the eye. If symptoms persist better to consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated. An MRI scan is required for further assessment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
