Suggest Treatment For Body Rash, Headaches, Cough And Dehydration
I have been getting this red body rash, headache, cough and sweats/chills followed by dehydration about once a month or two. Bedtime seems to be the worse time and I can t sleep well. I ve been to the doctor and she said I have a heat rash. I do live in a dry climate....Las Vegas, but why does it keep returning?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Recurrence of symptoms of red rash and dehydration indicate that you are being repeatedly exposed to heat. You need to protect yourself from the direct heat to prevent heat rash. Avoid going out in sun and use a protection like umbrella and sun-screen when you are out. Dehydration can be avoided by taking plenty of fluids, salads and fluids. The affected skin should not be exposed to sun else the rash will recur. A soothing emollient should be applied to the affected area.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
