Welcome to HCM!

Your symptoms are indicative of menopause plus some depressive symptomatology in nature.

You should be taking good vitamin supplementation along with calcium and Vit D. include the following in your daily meals--

-- include flax seed, walnut or almonds
--start taking regular walks, twice a day for 20-30 minutes.
--for all these symptoms of lethargy and aches, I have seen very good response with desvenlafxine 50 mg daily.
--Take more of fruits and salads

Menopause is a normal phenomenon, but every woman has her own type of symptoms, and has to get adjusted to it. Manytimes medicine are very much needed.

Wish you good health

Hi,

I have gone through your query.
Diovan HCT contains Valsartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. The combination is given for reducing blood pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic and cause hypokalemia leading to the symptoms you have mentioned. I suggest you to consult your treating doctor mentioning the symptoms. Investigation like blood electrolyte level will be needed. Discontinuing medicine after your doctor's advise may relief the symptoms.
