Suggest Treatment For Bony Lesion Causing Blockage In Nasal Cavity
My son has his left nasal cavity blocked.CT scan ( both plain and contrast ) shows well defined lobulated sclerotic non enhancing bony lesion on left side resulting in complete choanal block .Please give your suggestion for a suitable surgeon.I am from Belgaum ,Karnataka,India.
Hello and welcome to HCM, An obstructing bony lesion in the nasal septum will be managed by an ENT specialist. The bony lesion described could be a deviated nasal septum. This kind of bony obstructing lesion is managed by surgical excision. Thus, I suggest you to consult your ENT specialist for clinical assessment, review of radiological reports and thus management.
