My Grandmother was recently taken to the hospital for difficulty breathing, nausea and vomiting. She also has CHF and was put on a ventilator July 31st to try and pull fluid from around the heart and lungs. She is morbidly obese and has swelling about her fingers, hands, and arms along with her legs and feet. The doctor came in a little while ago to talk to my Grandfather and didn t elaborate except to say that she couldn t be taken off the vent today, because she hasn t progressed like he d hoped she would.
