Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis And Painful Cough

I am currently being treated for bronchitis. I am taking Methyliprednisolone, IC doxycycline, and an albuterol inhaler. I am still coughing, it is painful, and sleep difficult. Is it possible to take something like Nyquil to control my cough so that I can sleep while taking these other meds?
