Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis And Upper Respiratory Infection In An Infant
Hi my five month old daughter has been to hospital they diagnosed her with an upper respiratory infection she still sick so took her to her family doctor she said she had bronchitis neither place gave her antibiotics just nasal saline drops and little noses nasal decongestant she is still congested I noticed yesterday she has blood in the corner of her eye this morning when she got up I notice her eye was a little black by this evening I noticed her other eye looking some what black also and am concerned why she hasn t had any accidents so why is her eyes black and why does one have blood in it?
Probably she is having black around eyes because of being sick. I can recommend you to take antibiotics because bronchitis usually doesn't get better without antibiotics. Also, you should take acetylcysteine to think secretions.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
