Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis

My wife had bronchitis last week and is still in a recovery period. one of her co-workers sprayed a healthy dose of lysol when she left there cubicle area. My wife returned a minute later and had one of the worst coughing attacks in her life. Said she felt like she was suffocating. They released her from work but I had to come and drive her home. Is my wife in danger of permanent injury?
