Hello,

You have history of chronic bronchitis. Bronchitis need to be treated with antibiotics. since prednisolone suits you, continue to take it. A course of amoxicillin also is very effective. You should get a follow up examination every 45-50 days done to assess the improvement, you will get blood tests, swab and sputum test and imaging tests done so that the treatment can be closely monitored.

In the meantime, stay away from addictions if any. Take plenty of water, stay well hydrated. Take balanced, home made food rich in minerals and proteins. Add a lot of fruits, veggies and berries in your diet. Take quality rest, do not over strain your self. You can take pain killers like acetaminophen or naproxen, one SOS when required. Do not get dependent on it. Asthma is triggered by respiratory infections, such as the common cold, strenuous physical activity, heavy work and cold air. Stay in optimum temperature that suits you best.

Stay away from triggers like pollen, dust, mites, mold spores, pet dander, etc. Avoid stress (emotional and physical) as they trigger asthma. To stay fit and reverse your symptoms you should switch to healthy lifestyle, make dietary changes and prefer to stay at a place away from pollution so that you can get more oxygen.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
