General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As it is an iatrogenic condition, thorough clinical evaluation of the extent is a must, and then comes the management part. Have to undertake basic x-ray chest, complete blood counts, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), pulmonary function tests, and if required diagnostic bronchoscopy. Treatment options include:
- Antibiotics IV or oral
- Bronchodilators IV or oral
- Oxygen in selected cases to maintain oxygen saturation
- Corticosteroids according to the demand of the case
- General nursing care

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
