Suggest Treatment For Bronchitis

im 45 female 180lbs...i had bronchitis a few years ago for a long time. went to my dr and he did nothing so i went to a diff dr. she gave me an Rx for a shot. i went and got the visl and brought it to her and she gave it in my hip which was very painful for some time but i almost immediately felt better, I cant remember the name of the drug now. i think it was a steroid and started with an R. can you tell me what it may have been. I would recognize the name if i saw it.

Hello.The usual treatment for bronchitis are inhaled drugs.If there is no improvement with inhaled drugs,are combined with treatment by mouth(corticosteroids). The most used corticosteroids are
Prednisone, Methylprednisolone and Deflazacort.
