Suggest Treatment For Brown Discharge When Diagnosed With Yeast Infection

Hi doctor, Im 21 years old,44kg, I had yeast infection last year, and it is cured. I ve realised I have pink/brown discharge that last 3-4days when I wipe after my pee and a little on my pantyliners, a week after my period. It just started after my July period. This is my period record; Period starts 17-24th July, First discharge occurred 30 July-3rd Aug. Period starts 20-27 Aug, Current discharge occur 3 Sept to today (4th), not sure how long it will last. For both period I ve started HIIT exercise, right after the day my period stop, with little calories intake (around 800-1000 cal), there s no pain in anywhere of my body during the discharge. May I know what may be happening to my body? Thank you !

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
The treatment of brown vagina discharges depends on the cause.Such discharges could be caused by a number of medical conditions including:
-Bacteria vaginosis
-PID/STIs
-Cervical/uterine masses
-Vaginal parasitic infections like Trichomoniasis
-Yeast infections
-And so many others
I will suggest you see the Doctor for a vaginal swap smear test and chlamydia test and if need be, other STI tests may be requested. From the results, treatment options may be discussed. In your case, a more likely cause is vaginosis. If diagnosis confirmed, treatment with metronidazole and amoxicillin will yield good results.I will advise douching with simple clean water with no soap or detergents as these may destroy normal vaginal flora and cause funny discharges.
Hope this will help
Best regards
