Suggest Treatment For Bruise And Swelling On Foot

I just put on my flip flop sandle to go outside to local apt. laundry and my foot hurt like I had scrated it a little. I looked and saw a bruised and swollen area as big around as a half dollar. I dont have very good site but wonder if this could be a dangerous spider bite. A friend had a brown recluse bite her and she waited to long and they had to take out a large area of tissue in the calf of her leg. I obviously dont have much muscle tissue to spare on the top surface of my foot. WORST PART I am about to travel tomoro and dont have time to go to doctor.! What do you think? My ticket to travel is non refundable!!

Hi,

Dermatological issues are difficult to sort out without looking at them. Brown recluse spider bites occur and the spider is almost never seen. It starts after the bite, the tissue dies off often with surrounding infection. I cannot say if it is a scratch, infection or spider bite but minor problems do not generally get worse in 24 hrs, the more serious ones do.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
