Suggest Treatment For Bruise On Elbow After An Injury

Hi, the switch that is supposed to stop the dryer from rotating when you open the door, was not working on my dryer, but I didn t notice. And I inserted my arm the get a piece of clothing and my arm got stuck and rotated painfully. I was able to get it out quick. I had some x rays done and they identified a small fissure in the bone under my elbow. I also have a big bruise in the outer side of my elbow and recently it became a hard mount ball. The accident happened last friday, today is Thursday, and the hard lump started to feel tingly, cold and numb at times. They suggested an arm sling, but I haven t been able to use it for a prolonged time, because I ll get a cramp on my arm after 10 minutes. Should I go and get it rechecked or it s all part of the healing process? And why is it numb?
