Suggest Treatment For Bruise On The Elbow

I seem to have repeated the same bruising or round circular discoloration on my elbow ( brownish red color) that was there a month or so ago. I am not in pain , only when leaning or pushing on certain spots on the elbow. I was certain I hit it and it just needed time to heal like any bruise does. But this morning I noticed the circular discoloration was back ( not as large) but this time, I was certain I hadn t injured it. Any suggestions ?? 57, female, non-smoker, treated for hypertension for over 20 years! Some physical Activity.

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Elbow is prone to get hit with table and walls sometimes which we don't notice until a bruise appears, but if you are certain about not hitting your elbow somewhere and you have the same bruise anywhere on your body then I suggest you go for a CBC and coagulogram to rule out any medical condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
