Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Today s1, I got hit in the head either on or near my temple. It hurt for a little while and when it happened it almoat felt like fluid was going to the area but it could have just been from having pain. as the day went on, I felt better. It s been almost 12 hours since this happened. And I just noticed a small bruise (it was kind of greenish) on my temple area. Should I be concerned?1
Since you got hit on the temple and now have developed bruise that hurts and is greenish/bluish in color, you are suggested to apply ointment Thrombophob in the affected area to reduce any swelling and formation of blood clots beneath the skin. You can take Acetaminophen or Combiflam, one SOS to get relieve from pain. You can apply cold compress to ease discomfort. However, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get CT and MRI done to rule out any epidural or subdural hematoma.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
