Suggest Treatment For Bruises From Itching On Thigh
I have had the same itch in the same spot fora few weeks now. It ddoesn tmatter how much I itch it it keeps coming back. It s on my thigh. I itch it so much it bruises. I also on the same leg in the last few weeks experienced a charlie horse in my calf to the point it has bruised a few hours later and notice that when standing sometimes that same leg will go numb. Is any of this related? And what could be the cause?
To get rid of Charlie horse, avoid sedentary lifestyle. Do stretch exercises. Stay active. Dehydration and a lack of magnesium-potassium in the diet may trigger Charlie horse. Stay well hydrated. Take multivitamin caps / tab as a supplement. To treat bruises from itching, you are suggested to wash the bruised area with antiseptic soap / lotion.
Pat it dry and apply antibacterial ointment like Neosporin or Bactroban. Take care of your personal hygiene so that the bruise does not get infected. You can take acetaminophen to get relieve from pain or inflammation. Antihistamines effectively reduce allergy and itching. Cold compress is also helpful.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
