Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My 7 yr old daughter fell off her bike about 3 hours ago. She has some minor cuts and bruises. She also has a small cut on her eyebrow above her right eye. It swelled slightly and there is a bruise from her eyebrow around to the top of her cheek. She seemed normal until about an hour ago when she wouldn t eat dinner. She said she had a headache and felt tired. I gave her children s tylenol about 30 min ago. Since then, she has eaten her dinner and says her head doesn t hurt anymore, but she is still a little tired. Should I be concerned or should I let her go to bed at her normal time?
It is normal to develop bruises after minor cuts on different parts of body. The bruising will disappear within few days. I suggest you take rest for tiredness. Since headache has responded to the pain killer, tiredness may reduce after taking rest.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
