Suggest Treatment For Bruising On The Knuckles

well i had a fall yesterday, or almost fall, i was starting to go up some stairs after a walk and felt myself falling. I grabbed the rail to stop my fall and fell half way, managing to scrap my knees slightly and right elbow drew a little blood. I was more embarrassed than anything but now Im noticing a pocket of fluid forming under my right eye? Not a bag from aging, so I assume I must of hit my cheek bone area, where fluid is, against my knuckles. It s slighlty tender n red but doesn t look like a black eye. How can I reduce this fluid, I mean, tomorrow is Easter, that means family gathering around my eye? lol

Hi,

It may be due to local inflammation to trauma lead to edema.

You may use cold and warm compression along with that use anti-inflammatory drugs.

If symptoms not improved please consult your surgeon to check it out for any other bones fracture like the rim of orbit or malar bone fracture etc, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
