Hello,
You have bruises on your shins, on the other shin the bruise has hardened. You get easily bruised & take a longer time to heal. Presently you are pregnant. Since you are pregnant you should be more careful with yourself. Use good lighting at home so that you don't bump here and there, don't keep home untidy & be careful on the steps.
Arrange furniture and electrical cords so that they're not in your way when you walk. To be on the safer side get your vision tested. Side effect of certain medications also cause easy bruising, be careful what medicines you take. Ginkgo can increase your bruising risk due to a blood-thinning effect. Stay away from it.
However, you are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, to detect / rule out factors that may cause easy bruising like vitamin K deficiency, bleeding disorders (
hemophilia,
vasculitis,
leukemia, abnormally functioning platelets, problems with
proteins that help the blood clot, etc). You can apply Ointment Thrombophob on the bruised area for relieve. Get clinically assessed. You will be treated according to the pathology detected.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
