My father was goose hunting last weekend and said he felt like something bit him on his behind.he now has a long red rash that looks similar to diaper rash and the rash has spread to his belt line and sides it is raised and blotchy and it itches all the time. they were hunting in a corn field
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that there is severe allergic reaction to the poisonous chemical present in the the bug sting leading to formation of rash as well as itching. First thing that you should do is to take a keen look at the bite site and in case if the stinger is present embedded into the skin first of all try and remove it.. He can take anti-allergic medication like Levocetrizine or benadryl, apply a steroid ointment over the rashes and do cool compresses over the rashes.. In case if there is pain he can take tylenol.. In case if there is no improvement consult an Allergist and he may advise you to take injectable anti allergics and steroids..
Hope this information helps..
